Atlantis: The Palm (Dubai) is a beautiful resort, especially at night when it’s really lit up. I live in South Florida (all of 45 minutes from the Atlantis hotel in the Bahamas), but somehow we found our way to Atlantis: The Palm hotel in Dubai (about a 15-hour flight) before the resort in our backyard. These are photos of the iconic main tower lit up at night. Had to use a tripod and time the shots to not capture a crowd of people walking by.
Not captured here, but the resort is gigantic and quite lively with restaurants, bars, lots of pools, and live music cranking through the night. It was a joy walking around the boardwalk with my camera gear attempting to capture a small portion of the magic of this resort. Atlantis: The Palm is situated on the iconic Palm Island (built to resemble a palm tree) and sits on the Arabian Sea. Thankfully, there wasn’t much of a breeze as most of the photos required a somewhat lengthy shutter to capture the beauty of the resort at night.
